Lindsay and Jonny Engagement Session

Here is an engagement session I shot for Lindsay and Jonny :) These guys were referred to me by Mallorie and Matt. When I saw the yellow and blue outfit scheme, I knew we had to head over to my secret yellow wall with the blue windows. The temperature was hot hot hot and so was the couple as you can see :) Sorry about the number of photos, I had a really hard time picking a favorite.

Many are great shots, but I still fail to understand the serious overtone shots that photographers use... the engagement photo is supposed to be happy, not looking like you're headed to divorce court.

Well Monty, as you can see from my shots, I don't only do overtone shots, I use a mixture of happy, laughing, and dramatic artistic shots as well. Thanks so much for stopping by and hope my overtone shots won't keep you away. Sometimes overtone shots also fit the couples personality, I do admit they aren't for everyone though.

ohhhhh I want a pink door! luv these. as far as chairs and stuff go its been a long hard search. a few weeks ago I finally caved and bought $$$ my red velvet chair at a antique shop. I have been going to four d.i s for 4 months almost every week with nooooo luck until last saturday. I found that funky chair($15) in that newborn shot. so theres my novel :)
oh and the green couch I borrowed from a friend

that first shot with the pink door is killing me. I am IN LOVE with that one!! And I'm not sure what Monty is talking about- I think your more serious pics are so beautiful and have such a PASSIONATE feel- I think it would suck if we all took pictures of big fat smiles all the time! So keep up the "serious overtones" because I love them! I think it's hot. =)
