Stevie Bridals

OK, sorry about the delay folks, I went out of town to shoot a fabulous wedding in Sunny Las Vegas over the weekend and got a little distracted. However, I am back and have some hot photos to share. Nick, if you are even thinking about peeking at these photos, so help your soul boy. No peeky peek. I am very proud of this shoot and Stevie looked amazing. We all met in Salt Lake, and by all, I mean Me, Shanda, Stevie and 4 of her bridesmaids. Stevie was kind enough to bring me some belated birthday gifts that meant a lot to me :) She baked me homemade oatmeal chocolate chip cookies (my fav) and got me a toy squishy banana, lol, (inside joke because we both love Charlie the Unicorn....see episode 2). Phazes salon in Ogden did a smokin job on Stevie's make up. Plus Stevie knows how to work the camera like a supermodel, you go girl. I so can't wait for Stevie and Nick's wedding next month :) These two have become such awesome friends.

ATB-Stars come out

Hey guys, I know you are all waiting for more posts and I promise, they are coming and they will blow you away. I have been shooting and can't wait to share what I've been up to. I thought while you guys were waiting, I would share with you one of my all time favorite songs. Stars come out by ATB. This song is so beautiful and is something that I love to blast very loud and just chill to. It relaxes me and I love listening to this when I have had a bad day. It's one of those rare songs that I can listen to over and over and over and never grow tired of. What do you guys listen to for relaxation or to cheer you up or just chill to? Please share.

Night at the Davis County Fair

So on Wednesday some friends of ours Jake and Chuck invited me to go with them and their kids to the Davis County Fair with them. It was the opening night and Dustin was shooting Stevie's bridals, so I thought what the heck, he is having fun, and went with them. We met up with some other friends and we all headed to the fair.

We shot Jake and Chuck's wedding last May and since then we have become close friends. They are so freaking sweet! I love that they have included us in their family! I am going to be bummed when school starts for me and summer ends, because they have been so awesome to hang out with.

I am so excited that they just started a blog too!

The first place that we headed to when we got there was to the petting zoo, where Cameron saw the cows and started mooing! Then we proceeded to the food, then we headed over to some more animal areas where we saw this awesome hen/rooster/bird that looked like it had boots, it was awesome! After that we hit the rides, and the kids LOVED them, then the night ended with Fireworks.

What a fun night

Last week we went with Jake and Chuck to the Weber County Fair where the girls tried their hand at rock climbing

Cory Ann Bridals

Zach, no peeking allowed ;)

Ok, now that Zach is gone, here is a bridal session I did for his lovely bride Cory Ann. Their wedding is fast approaching next month and is going to be so much fun. I loved Cory Ann's dress. Thanks once again to my best buddy Tavis Johnson for coming along and assisting me with this shoot.

Robyn Bridals

Here's another great bridal shoot I did last week for one of my sweet family members Robyn :) Robyn is just the sweetest girl and has such a great sense of humor. I am getting so excited for her and Aaron's wedding next month. They are getting sealed at the Bountiful Temple so Robyn decided to have her bridals taken there. Stay tuned ;)

Carly and Tyler Engagements....Starring Wesley

I had such a fun time shooting Carly and Tyler's engagements :) Carly brought along her son Wesley, and I hope she doesn't mind me saying, but I didn't even know that he was not Tyler's. Tyler and him get along so well and Tyler is so good with Carly and Wesley, I wanted to give him props. These guys are the perfect family and I can see how Wesley grew on Tyler. He is the most adorable little boy ever. It took him a little bit to warm up to me, I started off as the Camera Man, lol, and then he started helping me roll my camera bag down the street. Such a gentleman. By the time we got to our last location, he was helping me hold some off camera flash, and I would play with him by making him say "abracadabra" to make the flash fire. On the way back to the car, he started holding my hand and finally called me Dustin. Carly and Tyler were so fun to photograph and I am so glad they brought Wesley along. After the session, Carly and Tyler were so kind to treat me to dinner at the California Pizza Kitchen. After dinner we went and got some caramel apples, yummy. It was pretty funny, after I got home, Carly had emailed me saying I made quite the impression on Wesley because he was asking to come stay the night at my house :) He is such a cute little kid and full of energy. Thank you Carly and Tyler for choosing me as your photographer and for keeping me fed away from home :) I love your guts.

This has to be my favorite one from the session, hahaha, Wesley got put in time out for a minute and was told to sit by the wall. He put on a pouty face that was too cute. I was up close shooting Carly and Tyler and stepped back a couple steps to include Wesley in the frame. Too funny and cute to pass up. This one should be blown up and hung over a mantle or living room couch :)

This is where Carly and Tyler had their first date, the Broadway Theater in SLC, so I suggested we go there for our last few shots. Thanks Wesley for using your magic word "Abracadabra" and making my flash go off :) I loved how they were kissing and Wesley just walked up and started hanging on Tyler's arms. This would make a great two series framed set with the shot above :)

Kids

Oh how fast the kids grow up. Here are some photos from my iPhone

Again some more photo from my iPhone The last ones are, the first ones are ones that Dustin took a few years ago. When we 'offered' free makeup application. Madison's skill has gotten better with makeup, now it is all pink lipstick that doubles as eyeshadow

Lindsay and Jonny Wedding 8-1-2008

I apologize in advance about the plethora of photos in this post, but Lindsay and Jonny's wedding was absolutely amazing and I couldn't help myself. I had such a hard time narrowing it down and wanted to post a bajillion more photos. I know you will understand what I am saying when you see the photos, this wedding was simply stunning. My absolute favorite florist Audrey of Studio Stems did all the flowers and this was some of her best work yet, truly some of the most unique arrangements I have ever seen including the ping pong balls. If you are getting married this fall or next year, you MUST give Audrey a call, she is the best in the business. Some of you may remember Lindsay's Prada shoes from her bridal session, I had to grab some more shots of them. The details were also very stunning if I do say so myself. A special thanks to my best friend Tavis Johnson who came along to second shoot with me. Also, thanks to Audrey of Studio Stems for recommending Lindsay and Jonny to me, you are the best ever :)

Congratulations Lindsay and Jonny :)
