Melissa and Josh

So on Friday, I shot some engagements for Melissa and Josh. It was freezing cold out side but we had an absolute blast. These guys have known each other since preschool and their proposal story was a unique one that involved a lot of creativity :) These guys are getting married in Hawaii so they wanted something beach like, so we decided to shoot a little downtown and then head out to Saltair for some beach and sunset shots. Well snow pretty much eliminated the beach possibility, but we did arrive perfectly in time for some sunset shots. Thanks for a fun session and have fun in Hawaii guys :)

Cathy and Steve - Night Engagements

I shot engagements of Cathy and Steve late one night out in downtown SLC. Cathy is the twin sister of Jenni who just married Jared back on June 16th (if any of you want to go back into the archives). Anyways, I was so excited to shoot these engagements because night shoots always turn out so cool and they are so challenging, but you get such dramatic and moody shots. Here are a couple of my favorites from the session :)

Roberta and Travis

On Tuesday, I shot some engagements for Roberta and Travis. We were supposed to shoot at the Hogle Zoo and then Downtown SLC, but were disappointed to find out the day of the shoot that the Zoo closes at 5PM. Roberta and Travis are such an adorable couple. As we were driving down from the Zoo to downtown, I saw in my rear view mirror Roberta grab Travis' hand and kiss the top of it, how cute is that. I learned that Roberta waited for Travis to return from his mission in Spain. I can't wait for the wedding next month :) Check out a couple of my many many favorites from the session. Twice the Love

Last Sunday, I did something I quite honestly have never done before, I shot two couples at the same time. Brittany and Sunny are cousins and are both getting married in August. I used to work with Sunny at Citigroup. So, since they both wanted SLC engagements, they figured we could all just shoot them on the same day. We had a blast and it was nice killing two birds with one stone. Brittany and Blake were such good sports and were so fun to shoot. Sunny and Brandon were hilarious and had so much fun. Anyways, here were a couple favorites from the shoots.
