You may recall seeing Cathy and Steve's night engagement session a while back. Well now I had the chance to shoot her in her gorgeous wedding dress. Cathy loves the outdoor look and really wanted fall colors in her photos and Layton Park was about the only thing still semi colorful this time of year so we headed over and caught the last colors of fall. Her dress is stunning and we had a great time shooting.
So a little while ago I shot bridals for Stephanie up by Fernwood. As you will see we had such a blast and I had Steph laughing so hard. After we got done shooting up in Fernwood, we were walking back to the car and saw the biggest spider I have ever seen, I almost thought it was a toy plastic spider until Stephanie's son touched it with a stick and it moved... you should've heard me scream like a little girl, lol. That spider was darn fast for a big fat thing. Check out the pictures below :)
Meet Dixie and her adorable family. I met Dixie about 3 years ago when I was just starting out in photography. She worked at the photo lab where I developed my photos. One day when I came to pick up my film, she asked me how I made a certain picture look how it did and I told her how to do it. I never really saw her after that and a couple months ago she emailed me out of the blue to compliment me on how awesome my work has gotten and how inspiring my photos are to her. She is now a massage therapist so if anyone is feeling a little stressed, let me know and I'll pass along her info :) Anyways, she asked me to shoot her family photos since it has been years since they have had them done, so I was honored to accept. Here are a couple of my favorites :)
As promised here are some photos from Corrine and Alex's wedding. I had the chance to work with David Perry of David Perry Films and I was highly impressed with David. He is one of the best videographers that I have ever worked with. It was pouring rain and Corrine and Alex were such good sports about us being outside. After playing in the rain at the temple, we headed over to the Hotel Monaco for their luncheon catered by Bambara. Delicious. Then later that night, their reception was held at Memory Grove. It was business as usual with more rain. It was an absolute pleasure getting to finally meet some of Alex and Corrine's family and getting to know them. Congratulations Corrine and Alex.
Okay so again I will post two pictures just to show you how much fun we had on Halloween and the rest are on our personal blog. These are so freaking adorable.
