Angie and Brad Engagements

Last night, Jacque from Jacque Lynn Photography and I shot engagments of Angie and Brad. Their location of choice was the Union Pacific train station and 25th street in Ogden chosen for it's rustic feel. It's always nice to shoot somewhere besides a park and I think these locations fit Angie and Brad very well. They were good sports and did all the goofy things we requested them to do and we all survived the hot July summer heat. They even had a train cart that said "Wilson" on it, which was perfect because Wilson is Brad's last name. Here are a couple shots from the photoshoot. Photographer Meet and Greet

Today was such a blast. I hosted a meet and greet with local photographers at my studio in Layton. I was so honored that so many great photographers actually set aside some time to hang out with the mighty Dustin. I can honestly say that all of the photographers that came today inspire me and do such great work. It was nice getting to sit down and just talk with other photographers and getting to know them personally. Watch the slideshow at the bottom of this post to see how much fun we had. Click

Today was a lot of fun. We went out to sonic to get a bite to eat and I happened to have my camera so I snapped these pictures of the lovely women of my life, my wife and my daughters. After eating, we found a babysitter and finally went out on a date to see the movie Click with Adam Sandler. I absolutely loved the movie, it had such a powerful message and was a major tearjerker. If you haven't seen Click yet, I highly recommend it. They could've done without some of the innuendos throughout the movie, but it definetly is worth seeing. I also today welcomed Nikki and Nick into my wedding line up. They met up with me today and booked me for their wedding at the SLC temple on September 15th and their reception will be at Eaglewood Golf Course in Bountiful. I am very excited to be their photographer. We will be shooting their engagements next Saturday the 22nd of July out at Antelope Island, so watch for those pictures.

Desa Bridals

Tonight, I shot bridals for Desa at the Layton Park. Her dress was beautiful and she was beautiful, put those two things together and you have a beautiful bride in a beautiful dress. Thank you Mr. Obvious. Besides getting attacked by a million little red bugs, we had a lot of fun. Here are a couple of my favorites.

Kara Bridals

Last night I shot out at Thanksgiving Point and Thanksgiving Point Gardens. It was so beautiful with the overcast sky. Driving out through SLC it was raining and I was worried it would be nasty for the photoshoot, but it turned out for the best. Kara's Mom came along for the shoot and she was just a riot. Kara and Mom have such a close relationship. Originally, we were supposed to shoot out at La Caille, but a receptionist was very rude to Kara on the phone so we decided on Thanksgiving Point instead. Oh well, that is definetly La Caille's loss. Check out a couple of my favorite photos and be sure to view her slideshow by clicking the link below.

Rusti Bridals

Just got done shooting Rusti down at Memory Grove Park in Salt Lake City. I had such a blast. We almost rescheduled because of the rain, but luckily we were able to complete the shoot without even one rain drop. Rusti looked absolutely gorgeous in her dress. Mom and Grandma even came along for the shoot and it was nice getting to know them. They dressed like twinners so we got a shot of them with Rusti towards the end. These were a few of my favorites from the shoot. Here is her slideshow.

April and Aaron Wedding

Yesterday I had the oppurtunity to shoot April and Aaron's Wedding at Millenial Falls. What a beautiful couple and a beautiful location. My wife and I had a lot of fun. I really need to get myself a camera phone. There was this cute little boy named Xander and I tried hard to get him to look at the camera and smile but it just wasn't working, so his dad pulled out his camera phone and had me hold it up, the second Xander saw the camera he had the biggest cutest smile I've ever seen. Here is a little slideshow highlighting the day.
