I just got back into town from California on Wednesday. Corrine and Alex hired me for their wedding on October 20th being held here in SLC. They were in need of some engagement photos so they flew me out to Long Beach California to take some beach shots. We had an absolute blast. One of my favorite things in the world is the ocean, I love hearing the waves crashing into the beach and rocks. Corrine and Alex were so fun to shoot, they were playful and naturals in front of the camera. They were also willing to do whatever to get some great shots, even getting into the water :) Here are a couple of my favorites from the shoot.

So I owe a big apology to Heather and Bill for not posting this sooner. I was so overwhelmed in July after shooting 10 weddings in June and 3 of them being destination weddings, and then being gone to california two weeks in July, that I didn't ever get around to posting about their wedding. I absolutely adore this couple :) They were soooo fun to shoot and hang out with because of the love that they shared. They are two of the most welcoming and genuine people I have met. Just look at the pictures below to see how much in love they are :) The wedding day was kind of crazy. They had it all set up to be an outdoor ceremony on the patio of Panache, but a sudden windstorm came and started blowing everything all over so they made a last minute decision to move it inside. I didn't hear Heather breathe a work of complaint about it. The ceremony was absolutely wonderful, it was cute to hear Bill cry during the ring exchange and it made me a little teary eyed and choked up. These two were made for eachother and they have such happy personalities that it is difficult not to catch on and be happy too. It was a wonderful wedding and I was absolutely honored to be a part of it. I know that Bill will take great care of Heather and that they will have a great life together. So to Heather and Bill, I know this was late, but you guys are the best and I absolutely love you guys. I hope we can stay in touch because you guys are awesome.
On Saturday, I shot Karissa and Chad's wedding at Market Street in Cottonwood. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful venue. A special thank you to Tamra of Modern Expressions for coming out and second shooting with me. It was fun shooting Karissa's wedding because I shot her sister Sarah's wedding back in October and everyone is so much fun. Here were a couple of my favorites from the day.

Many thanks to Joyce and Kyle. They were the first couple to volunteer for my free night engagement session. They were awesome sports and we got some really great shots. I love the mood of night shoots, they have such a different feel than those taken in the day. They are for sure more challenging to expose, but the results are amazing. Here are a couple of my favorites.
