Carly and Tyler Engagements....Starring Wesley

I had such a fun time shooting Carly and Tyler's engagements :) Carly brought along her son Wesley, and I hope she doesn't mind me saying, but I didn't even know that he was not Tyler's. Tyler and him get along so well and Tyler is so good with Carly and Wesley, I wanted to give him props. These guys are the perfect family and I can see how Wesley grew on Tyler. He is the most adorable little boy ever. It took him a little bit to warm up to me, I started off as the Camera Man, lol, and then he started helping me roll my camera bag down the street. Such a gentleman. By the time we got to our last location, he was helping me hold some off camera flash, and I would play with him by making him say "abracadabra" to make the flash fire. On the way back to the car, he started holding my hand and finally called me Dustin. Carly and Tyler were so fun to photograph and I am so glad they brought Wesley along. After the session, Carly and Tyler were so kind to treat me to dinner at the California Pizza Kitchen. After dinner we went and got some caramel apples, yummy. It was pretty funny, after I got home, Carly had emailed me saying I made quite the impression on Wesley because he was asking to come stay the night at my house :) He is such a cute little kid and full of energy. Thank you Carly and Tyler for choosing me as your photographer and for keeping me fed away from home :) I love your guts.

This has to be my favorite one from the session, hahaha, Wesley got put in time out for a minute and was told to sit by the wall. He put on a pouty face that was too cute. I was up close shooting Carly and Tyler and stepped back a couple steps to include Wesley in the frame. Too funny and cute to pass up. This one should be blown up and hung over a mantle or living room couch :)

This is where Carly and Tyler had their first date, the Broadway Theater in SLC, so I suggested we go there for our last few shots. Thanks Wesley for using your magic word "Abracadabra" and making my flash go off :) I loved how they were kissing and Wesley just walked up and started hanging on Tyler's arms. This would make a great two series framed set with the shot above :)

Aww man! That little dude stole the show. Well at least a little. :) I love the colors and the shot for the fireplace mantle is definitely one for the ages.

Poor Wesley. He seems to not be having the best time. All very funny. Some great stuff here.

I love the pic with Wesley cover his eyes while Tyler and Carly get a bit mushy. What a beautiful family.
