Gateway bridal show
On Saturday I did a booth at the gateway bridal show in salt lake
city. It was great meeting so many of you. Just a reminder that any
wedding package booked in the next two weeks (by November 9th) will
receive a free 20x30 gallery wrap canvas valued at $350. Check back
for a blog post of Alex and Corrine's wedding.
Thank you so much to Audrey of Studio Stems for putting together the floral arrangements for my booth. She is in my opinion the BEST florist in Utah. Her arrangements never cease to amaze me with their uniqueness. Thanks Audrey for the flowers.

Heather - Grace Ormond Style
Last night I had the honor of shooting bridals for Heather. She looked like a bride straight out of an issue of Grace Ormond. We spent a little over 3 hours shooting all over SLC. She brought along some cute sunglasses and a trenchcoat for some shots and they really turned out great. We started shooting at the Beehive Tea Room and then some outdoor city shots and ended at the Hotel Monaco. I shot nearly as many shots of Heather as I do an entire wedding, it was so hard narrowing it down for the blog, so I picked a couple to post and put many many more in the slideshow link below. YOU HAVE TO WATCH THE SLIDESHOW, we got so many amazing shots today, Heather has such a fun personality and models so well for the camera. You can tell in the shots how much fun we had last night. I took advantage of window light and broke out my video lights with some off camera flash for some sweet effects. Heather loves to read so we incorporated some magazines, books, and a newspaper in the shots. A special thanks to Heather's mom Melody for helping me hold the reflector and off camera flash.
Tiffany and I are heading to stay two nights in Park City tomorrow and I will be shooting a wedding on Saturday, so check back Monday for new posts.

Sadie and Tyler Honey 10/13/08
On Saturday Tiffany and I were at Historic Fort Douglas to capture Sadie and Tyler's wedding. The moment we walked in the chapel and reception center, we oooed and aahhed at how well everything was decorated. The details were just amazing and really set the mood of the wedding. Since Tyler's last name is Honey, they accented bees in the flowers, the boutonnieres, cookies, and they even gave out homemade honey to the guests. I love when brides have colorful and shoes with personality, Sadie had pink and brown cowgirl boots. The ceremony was beautiful and the day was filled with fun and emotion. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

Miriam and Edgar
On Monday I met Miriam and Edgar at the SLC temple. They were sealed on Friday. We had never met prior to the shoot and Miriam happened across my site on google and loved my style of shooting. I had a fun time shooting their photos, they are an adorable couple and two of the sweetest people. Here were a couple of my favorites from the session.
