What a beautiful wedding this was. Beautiful decorations and details. Beautiful bride and groom. I was about the only ugly thing at this wedding. Audrey of Studio Stems did an amazing job on the floral arrangements, centerpieces, and boquet. If anyone is in need of a florist, you will not find a better one in Utah. I am always amazed to see her work, it is so unique and beautiful and she is so easy to get along with. After all the traditional parts of the wedding; Ceremony, Boquet, Cake, Garter, Group Shots, and Dinner, the party really began. They had a swimming pool and let's just say I wish I brought my swimming suit because it got crazy. It started when one of the groomsmen jumped into the swimming pool and everyone else joined in, clothes and all. Even Amanda and Steve got into the pool in their wedding attire :) It was an absolute blast and I almost got thrown into the pool with all my camera gear around my neck. Thank you so much for letting me capture your wedding day, you guys are the best :)

That's My Brother - Congrats Little D
Today I attended my little brother David's graduation ceremony at the Weber Basin Job Corp and I can't express how truly proud I am of him. As they called his name and stood up there, the crowd went wild and in that moment, I realized how respected he was at his school and how much everyone loved him. David is an amazing person with an amazing heart and I love him to death. I have missed him while he was away at school and it's great to have him back home. Some of my favorite past times with Dave were staying up til all hours of the night playing Nintendo, Xbox, or whatever game console we had at the time. When we were younger we would knock down our Christmas tree and run and hide under the kitchen table while my dad would come pick it up and wonder why it kept falling under, lol, good times. I am proud of you little bro and love you.

Tanna and Matt - Rain It's What We Do.
Some of you may recall when I shot Tanna's bridals, it was in the middle of a torrential downpour and was raining cats and dogs. Well on September 14th while shooting Tanna and Matt's wedding, you could probably guess what happened. I love Tanna's laid back personality because as soon as the rain poured down, instead of running for cover, she ran out to dance in the rain, calling my name and saying "This is what we do Dustin". I love that my camera is weather proof so that I can just shoot in the pouring rain and not even worry about my gear. I had such a blast at this wedding and want to send a special shout out and thanks to my good friend Timothy Uhl of Retrospect Studios for coming and second shooting with me. Here are a couple of my favorites from the day, enjoy and look for more posts to be coming soon....

Casey and Megan 09/08/2007
Last Saturday, I was up at Solitude Mountain Resort for Casey and Megan's wedding. It was an absolute blast and was so full of emotion. These two were made for each other and are so laid back. I don't remember the last time I cried so much at a wedding. It was absolutely beautiful and I adore this couple to death. Sorry for all the pictures, but I had a tough time narrowing it down to 20. Enjoy.
