So after landing tiffany and I stopped by the famous arch in st louis.
It was totally awesome. We then drove all the way to nauvoo for the
wedding. Stay tuned ;)

We are sitting at the airport waiting on our plane to board. We are
heading to nauvoo Illinois to shoot Andrea and Trevors wedding and
will be back Sunday night. :)

Heather and Tyson 11/16 and 11/17

Sorry it's been forever since I have blogged, it's not that I'm not shooting, I have been very busy, but with the holiday finally had a chance to get all caught up. Last weekend I shot Heather and Tyson's wedding in SLC. Friday they got sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. It was a gorgeous day and there were family and friends that flew in from all over the country. I had such a fun time, both families had such fun personalities and I instantly fell in love with them. Then on Saturday they held their reception at the SLC City and County Building. They did such an excellent job with all of the details. They had colors all over the place with draping banners, tents with pillows and bright colors, extravagant flowers, and huge enlargements from the bridals and engagement sessions. It was so awesome. Tiffany was able to come with me on Saturday to help catch some candid shots. Here are a couple of my favorites from the weekend :)

Christmas Card Exchange

So I finally managed to get around to getting our Christmas card done. And I would like to know if there is anyone that would like to be added to our Christmas Card sending list this year. Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is such a great time of the year. We have a family tradition of going over to our good friends house (client turned family) and having dinner with them. I would like to take the time to thank all of my clients this year and past years. Thank you for supporting me in my business and making it such a great year! It has been so fun this year. Also thanks to all of my clients next year, we will have a great year ahead. In leiu of the Thanksgiving holiday any one that books with me before the year ends will get $100 off any package. My prices will be changing for the 2008 year.

I love hanging out with these guys and can't wait for their wedding next month. These guys always have me laughing and have a way of making me feel comfortable behind the camera, lol. We spent a couple hours in the downtown area of SLC and managed to get honked at by a trax driver. Here are some of my favorites from the session.

Pictures of our Adorable kids!

The other day we had Heidi of Retrospect Studios take pictures of our kids. BTW there are more photos on their blog. We scheduled the shoot pretty far in advance, and I kept looking forward to the date. When the day finally arrived...it was raining...but I wanted these pictures so bad nothing would stop me. I knew that they had rain boots, rain coats, and umbrellas. I have been wanting pictures in the rain for a long time, and when I called Heidi, I thought she would still be delighted to do these type of pictures, or at least I was hoping. As it turned out she was super excited to do these. When we got to the park and she started taking pictures I knew that these would be fantastic. After we got done at the park we went to their studio to get some more pictures of the kids, mostly of Cameron.

She was super creative and even made a boat for the girls to put in the water. As she was taking the pictures I knew that she was connecting with our girl's. Afterwards Kyleigh asked Heidi if she could stay the night at their house. It was so sweet. Kyleigh keeps asking us when the next time we can go to their studio.

I kept stalking their blog just waiting to see the pictures, not expecting them so soon. Then tonight Dustin came and got me from laying in bed to see them. When we saw them we were both so excited. We also both got tears in our eyes when we saw them.

I absolutely love having other photographers take photos of our family, because I love to see their style. It is also much easier to have someone else take pictures of the kids. I can't wait to get prints of these pictures. I am excited to order a large canvas of these pictures!

Lela and Sunday

Last Saturday I shot Lela and Sunday's wedding at Castlebrook Reception Center in Layton. What a beautiful venue and what a beautiful wedding. It was full of emotion and I had such a great time.
