So yesterday I was down in SLC shooting some bridals for Justina. Justina is getting married the end of this month in Nauvoo Illinois and I can't wait to fly out for her wedding. The weather was freezing but Justina was a trooper and we were able to get some amazing images. Her good friend Brittany came along to help out and we all had a great time as you can see in the photos.

Marko, Petar, and Nik
Meet the Mijic brothers. They all saw the senior photo session I did of Disney and loved my work, so they called and booked a session to do their photos as a surprise Christmas gift for their parents. So today we headed to 25th street in Ogden and had a blast shooting. Marko is the oldest, and Petar and Nik are twins. They were all sporting brown American Eagle sweaters with blue jeans. We got some sweet shots, but don't take my word for it, see the photos below for proof.

Kimbra Senior Session #2 Nauvoo
Say hello again to Trevor's little sister Kimbra. While we were out in Nauvoo shooting Andrea and Trevor's wedding, we went out the morning of the wedding before their sealing and did a senior session of Kimbra around Nauvoo and at the temple. I have grown so close to all of Trevor's and Andrea's families and love them to death. While we were shooting the pictures, it was freezing freezing freezing, and to top it off, the wind was blowing and would just cut right to the bone, and yet, with how cold it was, look how HOT Kimbra looks :) Kimbra just might be the next Digital Izatt too ;) because while we were waiting for Andrea and Trevor to come out of the temple, Kimbra was kind enough to shoot some pictures of Tiffany and I in front of the temple with my camera. You should've seen Kimbra work the camera and the angles, lol. She was having too much fun. Anyways, here were a couple of my favorites from the session.

Kailen Newborn Shoot
Holy cow, has it really been 5 days since I last blogged, I really need to keep up better, I have just been very busy with all the wonderful events of the holiday season and weddings/family shoots. I will be trying to keep up better because I know so many of you check this blog daily ;) you know who you are. Anyways, about a week ago, I had the chance to do a newborn shoot of baby Kailen who was only 8 days old. I used to do newborn shoots in my studio, but as many of you know I recently closed my studio down that I had in Layton, so we did the shoot at Kailen's house. He was so precious and it seems like only yesterday that my own son Cameron was just born, but it has been 7 months already. Time really flies. Anyways, check out how precious this little guy was :) Thanks Lisa and Ben for letting me capture these adorable shots of young Kailen, welcome to many nights of endless sleep :)

Disney Class of 2008 Senior Ambassador for Northridge High School
Meet Disney, she is the new Senior ambassador for Northridge High School in Layton Utah. We shot last week at the Union Station in Ogden. I absolutely love her name, it is so unique and is of course after Walt Disney. Her dad is a big Disney fan. Many of you may not know this but our oldest daughter Kyleigh's middle name is Aurora after Briar Rose (Princess Aurora) from Sleeping Beauty. Walt Disney Rules :) Anyways, it was a fun photoshoot and Disney was awesome for the camera, look at those beautiful blue eyes. If you go to Northridge High, hit Disney up for a rep card good for a 50% discount on your senior session.

Andrea and Trevor - Day 2 Lenexa Kansas
Thank you for your patience, I have been so crazy busy since I have returned home. Here are some shots from the reception day 2 held in Lenexa Kansas at the Lenexa Conference Center. The setting was beautiful, an old time barn turned modern on the inside. The night was filled with laughter and fun. I have never laughed so hard on the toasts, Trevor's brother Ryan is just hilarious and I will remember your toast speech for many many many many many many years to come (inside joke). I just did a quick pick on the photos as I know you have been waiting to see these, so these were just a very few of my many many favorites.
As far as the good news, the night of the reception, some of the wedding guests saw the onsite slideshow that I try to do for all my couples displaying some of my favorites from the wedding the day before or day of, and I happened to print a couple of temple shots up at walmart because Andrea's mom wanted some displayed in frames. Well Steve and Nancy Brown who have a daughter getting married at the end of this month were very impressed with my work and were blown away that I had stuff displayed from the day before, so they called me after the reception that night and we set up a meeting for Sunday just before we flew back to Utah, and they booked me to do their daughter's wedding December 28th down in Nauvoo, so I will be going back :) Thanks so much to Andrea, she has been my biggest word of mouth proclaimer ever. I have booked 6 or 7 weddings from her friends so far and it just keeps getting better.
It's kind of crazy now that I think about it, the last 4 or 5 weddings that I have booked haven't even been in Utah, lol. They are all out of state or country, I have booked the following:
Nauvoo, Illinois
Washington DC
Los Angeles, CA
Belfast, Ireland
Key Largo, FL
and possibly Kona, Hawaii
They are all within a month and a half of each other too, lol, so I am going to be a mad traveling fool this coming year. Ok, without further adieu here are the photos.

Andrea and Trevor - Day 1 Nauvoo Illinois
So I am now back in Utah from shooting one of my favorite couples in the world... Andrea and Trevor. The shots below are only a few of my favorite from Friday 11/30/07 at the Nauvoo Illinois temple. They had a sealing later in the evening so we decided to do their photos earlier in the day which was nice. It was freezing cold and if that wasn't enough, the wind would blow and cut straight through the bones. We shot some around the temple and then drove around old town Nauvoo for some other shots. They then went in for the sealing and afterwards we finished the day with a couple of family shots. Stay tuned for Day 2 photos from their reception held in Lenexa, KS on Saturday as well as some very good news that happened to us while we were in KS :)

Got ice?
up this morning to begin our 5 hour drive to Kansas city and found the
roads had turned into a skating rink and our rental car covered in a
thick sheet of ice. Here is a view from the drivers seat. Its so thick
that our scraper is only shaving off a very thin layer. So we are
sitting in the car waiting for it to thaw a bit.
