Jessica and Danny Engagements

So we finally are at a hotel in Key West Florida that has wifi so I am trying to catch up on my blogging as I know you all have been wanting to see what I've been up to lately ;) This is an engagement session that I did for Jessica and Danny after flying back from Vegas and just before I left to come here to the Keys. They decided to do a vintage style engagement session and we had such a blast. I am very pleased with the images I got and love the uniqueness they display. After showing them to Jessica, I got the following email and it totally made my day :)

"Holy crap you are freakin amazing! My whole family is freaking out about the photos and they are so impressed! My dad even showed everyone at his work, and they were amazed.
Anyway, THANK YOU sooooo much for all your hard work! We are going to have a hard time picking just one...

See you April 14th! I am soooo excited!

Jessica and Danny"

I'm glad you loved them as much as I do Jessica :) :) :)

Here is a slideshow with more of the images if these aren't enough for you.

Lori and Jon Engagments - Las Vegas Nevada

So after shooting Charlotte and Seth's wedding in DC, I flew straight to Vegas to attend a photographer's conference and to shoot some engagements of Lori and Jon in Vegas. We had such a blast shooting on the strip. We started at the Luxor and then finished up at Excalibur. It was a beautiful day with beautiful blue skies, we really lucked out. My favorite shots are some of the last few done in the back of the Excalibur castle.

Charlotte and Seth Wedding - Washington DC Temple

So on 3/15/08 I flew out to Washington DC to shoot Charlotte and Seth at the Washington DC temple. For the longest time checking the weather on my iphone, it looked like it was calling for rain, but we lucked out as it didn't rain til that night :) The Washington DC temple was absolutely gorgeous and it was great finally meeting all of the family. Seth's family flew in from Ireland and I can't wait to hang out with them in Ireland next month when I fly out for their open house reception in Belfast. The reception was held at the Marriott in Gaithersburg Maryland which has a park behind the hotel, the really awesome thing about the park is this.... When Charlotte and Seth went on their first date, they went out to dinner and then walked together in that very park. How awesome is that, to have the reception where it all started. The reception was very emotional and Charlotte and Seth were glowing the whole night, you could just feel the love they have for each other. Seth played one of Charlottes favorite songs on the piano (Fool's Rush In/I can't help falling in love) and he was simply amazing, I am taking piano lessons and hope to someday play half as good as Seth. After the reception, Charlotte and Seth left for their honeymoon and I spent the night eating pizza, watching movies, and just hanging out with their families. It was nice not to sit alone in the hotel and I just adore their families. Thank you so much Charlotte and Seth for letting me share in your special day and thank you to the Suhakas for inviting me into their home :)

Lili and Giang Engagements

The day after shooting Alison and David's wedding in Los Angeles I drove down to Long Beach to shoot engagements for Lili and Giang. These guys were smoking hot and it was one of the most fun engagement sessions I have done so far. We shot along the pier and we even got to ride a double bike. Then we headed down to the beach before sunset. Check out the sweet shots we got and then if you are still thirsty for more, check out this slideshow.

Alison and David Wedding

Alison and David were married on 3/8/08 at the Los Angeles California Temple. It was an absolutely beautiful day with clear blue skies and as you can see these guys were smoking hot. They had their reception in Long Beach California at Parkers Lighthouse. Thanks so much for flying me out to shoot your wedding Alison and David. You guys are awesome.

Aubrey and Jared Groomals

Here are some Groomals I shot for Aubrey and Jared just before I left to California. I absolutely love Aubrey's dress and the feather she wore in her hair. These were some of my favorites.

Camilla and Tim Engagements

Finally I will be catching up on my blogging, woo hoo. I have been all over lately and been so busy. Meet Camilla and Tim. I shot their engagements several weeks ago and have just been swamped since then, so don't think I haven't been working, lol, because I have. These guys were lucky and booked me for one of the two hottest wedding days this year 6/7/08. Anyways, here are a couple of my favorite shots, check back tonight to see what I have been up to the past couple weeks :)

Dustin-Love of my Life

So my husband Dustin has been super busy with all of the traveling and conference that he went to and the many weddings/engagement /bridals/portraits that he has been doing. Not to mention actually spending time with his O so wonderful family. :) SO I thought I would write something for him since he has been so wonderful! Since we have been together almost 10 years this October, he has grown so much. Everyday I wake up with him next to me (O.K. so not everyday, there are days he falls asleep on the couch.) and I am so grateful for him. Many of the weddings that are a destination he takes me a long or he makes it a family vacation. So with me coming it takes away from the income that he makes. I appreciate him taking me with him so much, I love being with him and spending as much time as I can with him. He is such a great father to our children. He gives his all to them I am so grateful that my children have a father like him to look up to and to have him raise them . Lately he has been so patient with the children, even though I know he has SO much to do, and I have been looking up to him and trying to be like him. He is a very strong person. He puts his family first and I just wanted to say thank you, I can't wait to be with you on your destination weddings.

Well, after spending 5 days in sunny California, we are finally on our way back home in the morning. I shot a wedding on Saturday and some engagements on Sunday, as well as a million photos at Disneyland. I had an absolute blast out here and thought I'd post just a little teaser of our time at Disneyland with the kids. I will be posting tons more over the next couple days including some video clips. Here are 3 for now.

I am not looking forward to the 11 hour drive home :( but I'll post soon.....

Disneyland 2008

Here are a few images from last year when we were able to take the kids to Disneyland. We went last year because Dustin had a wedding for Mark and Shalea in Fresno, so we thought what the heck we'll take the kids to Disneyland.

So why am I posting this?

Because we get to go again. Dustin is doing a wedding for Alison and David in Los Angeles, and this time we are spending 3 days in Disneyland, so more time and more fun. Dustin's family is also coming with us, and the kids are SO excited! They have been counting down the days till we go.
