Say hello to Taylor and James. I am shooting their wedding in May in Denver Colorado and am so excited. We lucked out because it said snow all over the weather report today and they had taken work off to do engagements. There were a couple times it sprinkled snow, but we really lucked out and it was such a perfect day to shoot. Luckily because it snowed, the SLC valley was so clear when we went up to shoot by the capitol. You could see the whole valley crystal clear, it was amazingly beautiful. Look how cute these guys are together. Once again, I got some killer shots and rocked the session. They love bright colors and as you can see, we succeeded in finding some.

Aubrey and Jared
So on Tuesday (last night), despite the freezing cold weather, Aubrey and Jared met me in SLC for their engagement session. I always love when couples choose some sweet out fits for photos. I have this fear that a couple will show up sometime wearing matching neon green and hot pink tye dye t-shirts, hahaha, but anyways, their outfits were smoking and these two are such a cute couple. I was bummed because two of my smoking locations that I wanted to shoot these guys at were under construction and barricaded off, but despite that, we were able to get some AMAZING images. Check out a few of my favorite below. I can't wait til we do their Groomals next month and the wedding in March.

Nina and Nicky
So today I had the chance to shoot some Groomals at La Caille Restaurant for Nina and Nicky. It was my first time there and even though everywhere was covered in snow it was still breath taking. Thank you so much Nina and Nicky for allowing me to be a part of your special day and Congratulations.

Melissa and Josh
So on Friday, I shot some engagements for Melissa and Josh. It was freezing cold out side but we had an absolute blast. These guys have known each other since preschool and their proposal story was a unique one that involved a lot of creativity :) These guys are getting married in Hawaii so they wanted something beach like, so we decided to shoot a little downtown and then head out to Saltair for some beach and sunset shots. Well snow pretty much eliminated the beach possibility, but we did arrive perfectly in time for some sunset shots. Thanks for a fun session and have fun in Hawaii guys :)

Baby Giovanni
On Friday we went to Jake and T's house to take some pictures of their new baby boy Giovanni. They also had Marcelino there to take some pictures with his little brother. Jake and T were clients of ours and have turned into friends so after the shoot we went to Salt Lake City and ate at the Spaghetti Factory, and had a fun good eatin' time!

Snow!
It has been a while since Dustin has blogged so I thought I would show a few pictures that we got today. There are more on our personal blog.

Featured in Latterday Bride 2008
Woo hoo, the annual issue of Latterday Bride came out for 2008 and I had 3 of my weddings featured in it as well as some trash the dress photos. If you live close to a Deseret Book or Seagull Book and Tape (nationwide), stop by and pick up an issue :) I am really excited about this and hope to have many many more weddings and photos featured in future magazines.

Justina and Curtis 12/28/2007 Nauvoo Illinois
This was the last wedding I shot in 2007. While I was out in Nauvoo last time shooting Andrea and Trevor's wedding, Justina's parents came to their reception and saw that I had a slideshow from the day before and absolutely fell in love with my work. We met with them before flying back to Utah and were so excited to come out to Nauvoo again. What a way to end the year, it was such a blast getting to know both families. I felt right at home and everything went by so fast. It was snowing this time, but was surprisingly warmer than it was with no snow, go figure, lol. Anyways, I was so sad when it was all over because I really felt like I was leaving my family to come back to Utah. I knew everyone by name and everyone really felt like family and I am so glad I was able to be apart of this awesome wedding. I think I got some of my favorite images from this wedding and everyone was raving about the photos at the reception (we had some printed up at costco 1 hour so they could be displayed). Sorry about posting so many photos :)

Breanna and Mike 12-22-2007 SLC Temple and Aspen Landing
Here are some of my favorite shots from Breanna and Mikes wedding. We started out at the SLC temple and then I went home to get a slideshow done for their reception that night. While I was home, Tiffany made me my favorite lunch in the whole wide world... Grilled Cheese Sandwiches :) Yummy. After the slideshow was done, I headed out to their reception held at Aspen Landing Reception Center. It was my first time at Aspen Landing and it was really beautiful. The night was a blast and we even had a surprise visit from Santa Clause :)

Cathy and Steve 12-15-2007
I will be getting my new computer today!!!! I know you all have been waiting for some new posts so I talked my beautiful 5 year old Kyleigh into letting me use her computer to catch up on some work. Here is the wedding of Cathy and Steve. We started out taking some getting ready shots at the brides house and then drove up to Wolf Creek in Eden for the ceremony and reception. It was a beautiful ceremony and I enjoyed seeing some of the same family members and guests that attended Jenni and Jared's wedding back on 06-16-2007. Jenni and Cathy are twin sisters. Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

Did ya miss me?!?!
Sorry it's been forever, the holidays just get so crazy and I had three weddings (one in Nauvoo) on top of it all, so I am finally getting a chance to catch up on some blogging. I was hoping to be able to blog before I left for Nauvoo, but I had a huge computer failure and was without a computer and email and I won't be getting my replacement computer til tomorrow night. Luckily I had this spare computer that my daughter Kyleigh uses to play computer games. So over the next day or two, I will be updating the blog with three wedding posts and also another awesome post that I have been waiting a long time to make. So check back soon and you will see some sweet images that I am quite proud of.
